Rio Vista is the perfect setting for family fun, a romantic weekend, or a business retreat. Located on 600 feet of open water on beautiful, constant level Lake LBJ in the Texas Hill Country, Rio Vista has magnificent trees, large beautiful lake houses, villas, cottages and R/V sites. There are also boat lifts, a fabulous swimming pool, a relaxing hot tub, ping pong, pool and gorgeous views. Best of all, at Rio Vista you'll always find a friendly smile and courteous service.

Rio Vista Resort has 41 R/V Sites, many of which are shaded and some with fabulous lake views. All have easy access to the beautiful waterfront park area and to the lake. There is a peaceful, covered pier located within 400 feet of the R/V section, available for fishing or for enjoying the beautiful Texas sunrise. Park benches, picnic tables and barbeque grills are available to all and conveniently located throughout the park.

There are restrooms with hot showers, a laundry room, a recreation room with a full kitchen and a pool table available for our guests. There is also a small workout room and an outdoor ping pong table. Best of all is the large, heated swimming pool, complete with waterfall, and the relaxing hot tub, located near the R/V section. Of course, the pool area is furnnished with several lounge chairs and other furniture. It is the perfect place for family fun in the Spring and Summer and for Winter Texans in the Fall and Winter.

Lake LBJ Fishing Report from TPWD (Jan. 10)

Water stained; 59–63 degrees; 0.70’ low. Black bass are good on Bleeding Shad Rat–L–Traps, watermelon crankbaits, and wacky rigged green pumpkin Whacky Sticks. Striped bass are slow. White bass are fair vertically jigging Pirk Minnows. Crappie are good on Curb’s crappie jigs and live minnows over brush piles. Channel catfish are fair on minnows and shrimp. Yellow and blue catfish are slow.
