Boo! Oh, sorry - did I scare you? I only meant to grab your attention before Halloween gets here and you miss some spooktacular fun on the lake! From nearby pumpkin patches to decorative camping - if you’re a big Halloween fan, you won’t want to stay home tomorrow (or Monday)!
Halloween-Themed Camping
Gather your Halloween decorations and throw them in the car with your camping gear for a crazy way to celebrate the Fall holiday. Don’t forget to pack a flashlight so you don’t run into any spooky situations! (I’m only kidding, although bringing a flashlight along is always a good idea).
Change up the typical s’mores and other campfire food and add in Halloween themes and accents. Pumpkin-shaped cookies, orange-colored foods, etc. - you could get pretty creative with these!
Fall Arts Roundup
The 13th annual Fall Arts Roundup continues tomorrow in Spicewood and closes out this weekend from 11am to 4pm. Sponsored by the Spicewood Arts Society, the Roundup is free to the public (although donations are certainly appreciated). Spend the day in the clear, crisp air while enjoying bluegrass music and food from La Cabana Grill. The event showcases various artwork from 35 different artists.
Sweet Berry Farm Fall Festival
Until November 6th, the Sweet Berry Farm Fall Festival is open every day - except Wednesday. Bring the kids along this week to pet horses and goats, find your way through hay mazes, eat ice cream, and - everyone’s favorite - pick from plenty of pumpkins! There’s definitely no shortage of activities here.
We’re in the heart of Fall here in the Hill Country, don’t let is pass without soaking up the incredible weather! Stay tuned for more news around Lake LBJ this week and Happy Halloween everyone!
