As a top organic Google search result for many “Lake LBJ” keywords, LakeLBJ.com has become a popular resource for Lake LBJ visitors, weekenders and residents. In 2104, traffic to the real estate section of the site increased 717%, as it became the fastest growing section of the site. Lodging, the most popular section increased 220% while camping, marinas and fishing guides rounded out the top 5 most popular sections of the site.
Site traffic from College Station was up 2,618% over 2013 as it moved up to become the 4th most popular origination city for LakeLBJ.com behind Austin, San Antonio and Houston. Traffic from Marble Falls, Dallas, Waco, Round Rock, Midland, and Cedar Park rounded off the top 10 origination cities.
Mobile and Social Continue To Grow
Smartphones and tablets continue to generate a tremendous amount of growth for the site. Smartphone traffic was up 260% while traffic from tablets was up 160% over 2013. Combined, smartphones and tablets now account for over 50% of the traffic to LakeLBJ.com. Social channels have also continued to grow as the site now reaches over 5,600 Facebook fans and 1,100 weekly email subscribers.
