To reach camp creek boat ramp, on the north side of Lake Travis near Smithwick, 18 miles west of Lago Vista or eight miles east of Marble Falls. Take FM 1431 to County Road 343 and continue 1/2 mile to the site entrance. It offers a free boat ramp, a restroom at the park, and a picnic area.

FAIR. Water stained; 85 degrees; 0.33 feet below pool. Crappie are good in 20-25 feet of water over brush piles with minnows. Channel and blue catfish are good on punch bait in 20-25 feet of water over brush piles and creek bed edges. Report by Jess Rotherham, Texas Crappie Fishing Service.
