Fishing Report from TPWD (May 5)

EXCELLENT. Water lightly stained. 71 degrees; 0.85 low. Black bass are good on topwater plugs, skirted jigs, and crankbaits worked near shorelines, main lake points, and rock ledges in 4-16 feet. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs around brush piles, rock ledges, and docks. White bass are excellent near main channels with swimbaits, jigging spoons, and slabs. Catfish are good on punch bait and cut bait.
