45 years ago, Lyndon and Lady Bird Johnson did a beautiful thing: they started a community tree lighting tradition that has endured over the years, bringing holiday cheer to all who visit their ranch during the holidays at what is now Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park.

Besides the tree lighting, you can expect to enjoy caroling, a live nativity scene, Santa Claus, warm drinks, and German cookies and cakes at this event. Be sure to wear good walking shoes and warm clothing!
