    Mayfest is a four day event in Johnson Park! An array of carnival rides and yummy treats will be offered at the four day event. Live Music will take place at Johnson Park , Friday Night May 7th, with Dj Freddie mixing some latin music to the crowd. Attractions include family oriented games on Saturday May 8th taking place at Johnson Park. Live music will be on stage starting at 5pm-11:30pm. Merchant vendors will be at Mayfest Saturday from 12pm-10pm.

    Fishing Report from TPWD (Sep. 17)

    GOOD. Water stained; 82 degrees; 0.24 feet below pool. Crappie are good in 20 feet of water on brush piles with orange and chartreuse jigs. Channel and blue catfish are fair in 20-25 feet of water on punch bait. Report by Jess Rotherham, Texas Crappie Fishing Service. There is good topwater bass action in the morning. After the morning bite ends, drag worms around main lake points. Water clarity is 2-4 feet of water. Report by Evan Coleman, Big Bassin Fishing Tours.
