If you're feeling the holiday spirit, you won't want to miss Marble Falls' annual self-guided winter wonderland, The Walkway of Lights. Kicking off right after the city's annual Christmas Light-Up Parade on November 21 and running until January 1, The Walkway of Lights completely takes over Lakeside Park, transforming it with 2 million Christmas lights, 230 festive sculptures, and a heck of a lot of holiday cheer.
The Walkway of Lights is open from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. every evening and admission and parking are both free. In past years, the event has hosted an average of 1,400 guests per night on weekends and 500 per night on weekdays -- that's roughly 45,000 guests per year!
Santa will show up on weekends to take photos with the kids and to facilitate conversations of the "I want a ____ for Christmas" variety. If you want to share any of your experiences or photos, you are warmly encouraged to email them to [email protected] or tag "Walkway of Lights - Marble Falls" in your Facebook posts.
