Wend July 16th youth rodeo, Thursday July 17th Slack main rodeo 18th and 19th

The address is probably not on any navigation system it is about one mile north of the 71/281 exchange on 281. it is on your right going north and if you come from 1431 go south across the river and will be on your left.

On July 16th there will be a youth rodeo free to the public, on 17th is slack free to the public.

July 18th is Main Rodeo admission is $10.00 for Adults and 5 for children 6 to 12 under 6 is free. gates open at 6:30 rodeo starts at 8:00

July 19th is Main rodeo: Admission is $15.00 for Adults and $5.00 for children 6 to 12 under 6 free. There will be a dance after the rodeo and the cost of admission covers the dance.

Fishing Report from TPWD (Jul. 9)

GOOD. Water stained; 85 degrees; 0.43 feet below pool. The Lower Colorado River Authority is advising the public to avoid the lake for the remainder of the week while lake conditions are dangerous due to floating debris, fast currents and possible bacteria levels associated with flooding. Check the LCRA website current conditions. Before the recent flooding bass could be caught skipping deeper docks with jigs, flukes and worms. Work the deeper channel swings with a jig or watermelon, green pumpkin or shad Carolina rigged fluke or worm. Flip a Texas-rigged creature bait or worm on rocks or brush piles on sunny days.
