Over the last few years Jerad has boated over 18 fish on both lakes that weighed over the 10 lb mark. He is known in the Texas tournament scene as a hammer. You can always find him on the leader board on either lake.?

Fishing Report from TPWD (Aug. 4)

GOOD. Water lightly stained; 88 degrees; 0.75 feet low. Black bass are good on plum or purple Texas rigged plastic worms, shaky head jigs, swim baits and diving crankbaits worked near rocky shorelines, main lake points and timber in water depths 13-26 feet. Crappie are fair on minnows around brush piles, rock ledges and docks. White bass are good near main lake channels, flats and humps with live bait and slabs. Catfish are good on chicken liver, live bait and cut bait.
