GOOD. Water stained; 65 degrees; 0.22 feet below pool. Crappie are good on minnows in 12-16 feet of water on brush with chartreuse jigs. Channel and blue catfish are good on punch bait in 22-26 feet of water over drop-offs and rock piles. Report by Jess Rotherham, Texas Crappie Fishing Service. Water temperature on the lower end is 70 degrees. Bass are good in grass on the lower end with red rattle traps, weightless senkos and chatterbaits. Some bass are still in 8-15 feet of water in the brush piles. White bass are good midlake with jigging spoons or Alabama rigs. Report by Charles Whited, Barefoot Fishing Tours. Bass are good working docks and bulkheads with creature baits, worms and flukes. A frog or topwater around underwater vegetation is working well. Do not forget a wakebait in those same areas.
