Planning Mother's Day Weekend on Lake LBJ

Are you looking for something fun and relaxing to do for Mom this Mother’s Day? Below we have five suggestions that would all lead to a great time out on Lake LBJ. So let’s get to planning our weekend on the lake!

Fun in the Sun

Grab your beach towel and don’t forget the sunscreen! It’s time for some fun in the sun. Whether you’re sunbathing or just tossing the beach ball around with family, we hope you enjoy your time in the great outdoors!

Boating

Perhaps it’s time to take the boat out! This would make for a great day trip, and you know she’d have a blast. Take Mom for a cruise around Lake LBJ, show off your favorite landmarks, and let her let her hair down!

Swimming

A day spent out in the water never sounded so relaxing. Just don’t forget to bring along your sunscreen. It may be spring, but it feels like summer out there on the water, and the UV can catch you even on cloudy days.

Camping

Pitch a tent or hook up the camper; camping is a fantastic way to spend Mother’s Day weekend! You can let her relax by the fire at night and serve her s’mores. You can go for a swim and then hang your beach towels to dry. You can enjoy each other’s company!

Hiking

How fun would it be to partake in a hike this spring? You can literally stop and smell the roses. We bet you’ll even spot some wildlife along your way. And you’ll have made fond memories out on Lake LBJ!

These are just a few ideas, friends. We hope we’ve inspired you to get outdoors and have a great time this season! Mother’s Day is bound to be a blast out on Lake LBJ!
